Kandice Maria's art is a combination of abstract elements and realism. In the past, her abstract style was often "total" free-association, being completely open to "the Spirit!
While Kandice has painted everything from the pure abstract, to pure realism (painting portraits and having been commissioned to paint 14 Frigate Destroyer Ships in oils for the US Navy), she feels she is on a new journey with her art today and is never sure where it will lead. The "unknown" direction of her work keeps her intrigued and excited as a graphic artist and painter. She loves to put together subjects or elements in a way they have never been seen before. But more and more she is becoming interested in "the message." Kandice feels her spirituality greatly inspires her art today.
